The final Run ever at the Historic Maxton Mile came at 2:00 pm 10/28, lines to run were nearly a mile long so we were only able to get two runs in. Our first run was 146 only 4 mph short of the class record and we were extremely excited being that close on only our 3rd run ever. Our 4th and final run brought us 1.13 mph short of the 1 mile Land Speed Record (148.89). We still left Maxton happy with our attempt on the record knowing that we have the bike and horsepower to get it next season in Wilmington Ohio.
